Hello!
My name is Lisette and I use my experience as a professional musician and performing artist to inspire my lesson plans and curriculum. I invite my students to help guide their own musical journey and see myself as a facilitator to each of their unique paths. My sole focus is to help you or your child set, work towards, and reach your goals as a developing musicians.
I began my formal piano training in Royal Conservatory in 1995, and have been an active pianist since that time. Working primarily as a singer-songwriter, I have been nominated for nine YYC Music Awards, was a finalist in the 'RISE-UP' songwriting competition (2021), and was awarded the 'Sound Humanitarian Award' for my collaborations and contributions to local non-profits and charitable organizations in November 2018.
For the past seven years I have worked as a mentor and coach for 'Girls Rock Camp Calgary', written commissioned work for organizations such as 'The True Beauty Foundation' and continue to teach private lessons out of my home in NE Calgary.
