Beginner Piano
On the surface these lessons are fun, fast paced, and focused on the basics. We play games and prioritize easy learning methods so that you are playing songs after your first lesson. On a music deeper level, we are utilizing methods of teaching and learning to ensure that you not only enjoy your journey in becoming a practiced musician, but also take home transferable skills that will encourage a life long relationship with music.
Whether your goals are to play privately for yourself or to share your gifts with the world, my goal is to support you in a way that ensures your growth is as productive as possible.
Piano lessons are offered either online via live streaming or in person in my NE home. Please contact me for further information regarding Covid safety.
Beginner Vocal
These engaging vocal lessons are a full body experience. We explore singing as an art form of self expression, with a focus on Vocal Techniques and Aural Skills (training our ears). With a combined focus of these musical aspects, we immediately take on the music that YOU want to sing. Lets work together in understanding how to properly take care of our body as it becomes a trained instrument that you can take with you anywhere you go. Simultaneously, you are building your confidence so that you are ready to tackle any song that peaks your interest, or perform for friends and family.
With a focus on healthy singing habits we can give ourselves the gift of song for life.
Currently, vocal lessons are only available online via live streaming for the safety of both myself and my students. If provincial regulations change we will consider offering in person lessons at that time.
Songwriting
Whether you are brand new to songwriting, or looking for guidance on how to bring your songs to life - these one on one weekly sessions will give you the opportunity to break down the fundamentals of creating original music from start to finish. Curated to your specific goals, these weekly sessions can be used for collaborative songwriting, song editing, performance coaching, basic recording knowledge or a combination of all.
Investment
All 30 minute lessons are $25/session once per week.
Students can choose between in person and online lessons based on their needs.
Any missed lessons with notice can be made up the following month with no penalty.
Any missed lesson without notice will be charged.
Payments are made monthly before the first lesson of that month.
